Mosport ALMS 2011

July 22nd kicked off the annual American LeMans Series weekend at Mosport. Teams from all over North America descended one of the most challenging tracks in the series, and the action followed. I stayed with a friend in Whitby and hung out with the great Corvette crew all weekend. I also had the opportunity to drive a C6 Z06 for the first time, what an amazing machine! It was neat to see Mosport transform during ALMS. I am used to shooting at private lapping events, so seeing all the trailers, fans, and the exciting atmosphere was great. Overall it was a weekend full of sunshine, spectacular cars, and great racing! Congratulations to Corvette on their win and thank you to everyone who made this event so much fun. Looking forward to 2012!
