A few weeks ago I met up with the owner of a very unique collection. As you may know my typical photo shoots consist of high end exotic cars like Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s, but this was something completely different. Included in this photo shoot was a custom built motorcycle, truck, restomod, and a completely wild hot rod. It was an amazing experience shooting these subjects since they have so many unique features and details that you won’t find on the latest Ferrari. These cars are so out of the norm and have so much character, hopefully I’ll be able to shoot more in the future! Kudos to the owner for putting together a truly unique collection and for driving these cars like they were meant to be driven. Below is the information about the subjects in order of appearance:
Custom built 1951 Harley Davidson Panhead – Rigit frame, 240 rear tire, hand made real copper fenders, kick start only, pin striping by Ronnie Gibbs. The bike was built by Anthony of Oakville Metal Works.
1950 Ford – F1 body chopped and channeled with a 1937 Hudson Terraplane grill. New frame, 1955 331 Hemi engine, Tremec 5 speed transmission, Ford F150 rear end with posi. Both this truck and the silver hot rod have heat, AC and satellite radio and were built from scratch by www.oddballkustoms.com
1930 Ford – Model A body chopped and channeled with gullwing doors. Grill is from a 1935 Ford truck, frame is brand new, engine is a 1957 Hemi, TH400 transmission and a 740 Caddilac rear end.
1973 Dodge Challenger – restored totally rebuilt new. 20 inch wheels, Baer disc brakes, Hotchkiss suspension, 475 Engine, Auburn posi rear end, TCI Super Streetfighter Transmission. The car was built by Unique Rides and Customs in Orillia.
