Every year a group of Canadian track rats make the drive from Southern Ontario down to Watkins Glen Race Track in New York. Even though the faces and cars have changed over the years it is without a doubt one of the highlights of the entire automotive season. This year was the smallest group we’ve had, but it included a diverse group of cars including a several Corvettes, a GTR, and a modified Porsche Turbo. Our accommodations for the trip were the A-frame cottages at the famous Seneca Lodge in Watkins Glen. It was very cool to see all these high powered machines sitting on the dirt roads in the woods! Many many laughs were shared around the traditional Seneca campfires and there were several big smiles after the first few sessions on the track. It is trips like these that really make me grateful for all the amazing friends I have made since I started on my photography journey. Thank you so much to everyone who came down and contributed to the great memories! I’m looking forward to next year already.

Any chance I could be notified when next year’s Watkins Glen event details are released. This sounds like a guaranteed great time.
